FAITH SIMPSON ACCOUNTANTS ARE ON THE MOVE!

Faith Simpson Accountants Huntly are relocating to new offices on the 7th September 2017. After three years living on Duke Street, Elaine and the team are moving to Unit 7 of the Huntly Business Centre on Gordon Street.

In the last twelve months Elaine and team have outgrown the Duke street offices. The team now need larger premises to accommodate the rise in new clients and take on more staff. The team are excited to be moving to the bright new offices on Gordon St and look forward to welcoming clients old and new to their new home.

Elaine Murray, who runs the Huntly office said “Its an exciting time for the company and the team. The new offices are in a great location, we have good neighbours, parking outside and plenty of space so we can continue to grow the business and serve the local community”

Debbie Lines, Payroll Manager has worked at the Duke Street offices for the last eleven years. She said “It will be strange to move, but I am looking forward to it”

Faith Simpson Accountants was established in 2006 and has offices in Elgin, Huntly and recently opened offices in Edinburgh.
Elaine Murray will also be appointed a Director of the company in September, and has recently been shortlisted for “Employee of the year 2017” at the Association of Scottish Business Women’s 2017 awards. This will be announced on the 29th September at the Grand Central Hotel Glasgow.

AWARD WINNING ACCOUNTANTS CELEBRATE OPENING OF EDINBURGH OFFICE




Faith Simpson Chartered Certified Accountants is celebrating the opening of a new office at 26 Dublin Street, Edinburgh in the heart of the city’s bustling New Town.

Faith Simpson’s third branch was officially opened on 30th March and the evening celebrations were attended by, among others, Scotland rugby international Hamish Watson and Gregor Lawson, co-founder of Morphsuits.

The company, which has been in operation for over 10 years, originally started in a spare room in a house in Elgin before expanding to Huntly through an acquisition in 2014. Since then it has grown rapidly with clients stretching across the whole of the UK.

Commenting on the new office, company founder, Faith Simpson said:

“This is a very exciting time for the company. We have seen demand for our services increase in Edinburgh over the past year so it made sense for us to open a dedicated office in the capital to better service our local clients. As a company we are at the forefront of technology so, with the move to making tax digital, we are offering first class service to Edinburgh’s vibrant and growing entrepreneurial base.

“On a personal level, I’m delighted to be moving back home! I moved away from Edinburgh in 1990 so it’s great to be come back to my home turf.

“Edinburgh is one of the fastest growing and most productive cities in the UK and we are so excited to begin the next chapter in the company’s history.

“It was great that so many people from the business community turned out to support our new office opening. We look forward to developing our office into a thriving business and to making a positive impact in the local community, something about which I’m passionate.”

Faith Simpson Accountants was last night crowned a winner at the inaugural Scottish SME Business Awards in Glasgow. The company, which has offices in Elgin and Huntly, won the Business of The Year (under 30 staff) for the North.

The Scottish SME Business Awards celebrated the amazing breadth of talent that SME enterprises have in Scotland. They attracted thousands of nominations from members of the public, in recognition of the achievements of Scottish individuals and businesses.

Speaking of the win, company founder Faith Simpson said: “To say I’m thrilled is an understatement! “I have such a fantastic team of people working with me who inspire me on a daily basis. This award is a testament to their hard work and fantastic client service."
